Managing Group Settings on the Web

Use the following steps to manage your group through the web portal
  1. Navigate to https://messaging.subsplash.com/XBHKKV/channels. You will need to login or create a Subsplash account tied to MTZN. This will be the same account you use for giving and event registrations
  2. You will see your available groups that you manage. Click the Group Name, then the pencil icon. From here, you can edit the group's photo, description, meeting schedule, and visibility and enrollment settings. Don't forget to Save.
  3. From the Group settings your can also add new members by clicking on Members
  4. If a person doesn't show up in the dropdown list they may not have a profile yet. They will need to create an account first at https://messaging.subsplash.com/XBHKKV/channels.

Manage Group Settings Through the MTZN App

Use the following steps to manage your group through the MTZN App
  1. Install the MTZN App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Open the app. You will need to login or create a Subsplash account tied to MTZN. This will be the same account you use for giving and event registrations
  3. Navigate to the messaging section using the message icon in the upper right hand corner
  4. Tap the Group Name to navigate to the Group Details page
  5. Tap the pencil icon
  6. From here, a Group Manager can change the group's photo, update the group name, add a description, set meeting location and schedule, and adjust visibility and enrollment settings. Don't forget to Save

Messaging Groups

Messaging, prayer requests, and event scheduling all take place withing a group. Using either the web or app interface, when you first select your group you will see the message bar at the bottom of the screen. From here you can add prayer requests, schedule events, add Bible passages, or use the "@" symbol to send a direct message to someone.
