Mt. Zion Christian Church has a well-established food pantry ministry known throughout the area for spreading the love of Christ. Volunteers work in teams on Saturday mornings to meet with people in need, interview them, and supply food for their families. Spiritual needs are addressed as well as physical in this ministry by praying with each person who comes in and developing a relationship to share the love of Christ.  Additional ministry may be provided to those who choose to get involved in church services and fellowship.

Behind-the-scenes volunteers provide support for this ministry by making trips to purchase bulk food, packing bags of groceries to be given out on Saturdays, and other tasks as needed.

The Food Pantry is open to the public every Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am (closed on December 26th).  For more information, please contact Chris Smith by telephone at (262) 248-7097, ext. 113 or by e-mail chris@mtzn.com

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed.”
