- The converted, those who had put their faith in Jesus.
- The convinced, those who were intellectually convinced that Jesus was who He said He was, but had never made a commitment to Jesus as Lord.
- The unconvinced, those who have heard the Gospel, but had not responded in any way.
The Jews believed that Moses was greater than the prophets. Some of them believed he was even greater than the angels because he had led them out of captivity, given them the Law,and had spoken to God, “face to face.” The theme of Hebrews is that Jesus is superior to every other messenger God has sent. He is, Himself, God.
Jesus is our apostle and high priest. He is Lord. Fix your eyes on Him! As you’re running the race today, make Him your goal.
