Do you have a plan for reading the Bible in 2014?  Many people begin one every year but are frustrated by the amount of reading.  In trying to read through the whole Bible in a year, people are often overwhelmed by how much they have to read every day.  They get bogged down in the Old Testament, and feel that they don’t have time to meditate on the scripture that they are reading.  If that has been your experience, or if you have never had a Bible reading plan, then we have a plan for you.

Beginning on January 1st, we will read from the New Testament and a Psalm or Proverb every week day – about 40  verses.  Those who choose to read on Saturdays will be going through the book of Genesis.  Sundays will be a day to catch up.  And whether you come to church on Sunday or on Saturday night, Pastor Dave will generally preach from the week’s reading.  So make daily Bible reading a part of your Marathon Personal Growth Plan for 2014.  Find it here, or pick up a copy at church this week.
